this rising talent.
Recorded in Toronto at The Playhouse Studio with the intent to invest
in an adventure in music and technique, Thomas' debut album fully
realizes that goal with style to spare. Thomas Matheson and Michael
"Snappy" Kipp have created an amazing record reminiscent of greats such
as Tom Petty, Nick Drake and Rolling Stones. This recording features a
solid collection of songs ranging in influence from the ears of Classic
Rock, to perfectly catchy Pop choruses and organ tinged ballads brought
to life along side beautiful acoustic numbers. This record is a dead
ringer for a strong radio presence as it begs drivers-seat dancing,
infectious toe-tapping and all out air guitar.
Having shared the stage with notables such as Matt Mays and El Torpedo,
Jesse Malin and the Novaks, Thomas has made a firm imprint regarding
his place among peers in the Canadian music scene.
The fall/winter season will find the release of the record and a series
of dates ranging from Ontario through Atlantic Canada."
